A shop in Great Yarmouth town centre is going under the hammer with a guide price of £200,000.

The former Ladbrokes betting shop on Market Place will be up for auction on March 22 with Auction House East Anglia. The building has remained empty since the betting shop closed in 2017.

The premises - which also had stints as a newsagent and a diecast model shop - also contains two let flats.

Spread over three floors, the building is said to be in need of improvement, particularly the retail unit on the ground floor.

On the first and second floors are two self contained two bedroom flats accessed from the white door to the left of the shop.

The flats on the first and second floors each contain two bedrooms, as well as a bathroom, kitchen, lounge and a hallway.

The property also has an enclosed yard at the back with a brick outbuilding.

A bus stop is outside the former betting shop, which is located between the former Two Necked Swan pub and the World of Spices shop.
