The coxswain of Hemsby Lifeboat hopes that its volunteers will be able to take to the North Sea again once temporary sea defences are in place.
Dan Hurd has said he hopes the lifeboat will restart operations off Hemsby by the end of next week.
Due to the recent severe erosion the lifeboat has been unable to launch, but it is hoped that temporary sea defences, made up of rocks from nearby Hopton, will enable it to restart once they have been fully installed.
