A woman in her 80s drove down the entire length of the Acle Straight without a tyre.
Great Yarmouth Police were called to the A47 on Monday, April 24, when the car was spotted by a member of the public.
The woman was driving on the rim of their wheel, continuing after all the rubber of the tyre was gone.
The car was seen "swerving in the road, dragging along on its wheel rim without a rear left tyre for miles".
The woman in her 80s were travelling eastbound along the Acle Straight and through Great Yarmouth where they were stopped by police.
Officers issued the driver a Traffic Offence Report for the dangerous condition of the vehicle and the danger it presented to herself and other users of the road .
