Two sinkholes which opened in Gorleston have been filled.

Baker Street had temporarily closed two weeks ago after a two to three-metre-deep sinkhole opened in the middle of the road.

Anglian Water inspected the cavity and determined the sinkhole was minor. The sinkhole was filled last week.

Following reports of another sinkhole opening in Middleton Gardens on Tuesday, Norfolk County Council confirmed contractors aimed to complete filling the hole by Friday.

However, the road had been repaired by this morning (April 26).
