Students enjoyed dancing and doughnuts at a prom night on the coast as they bid farewell to their high school years in style.

More than 100 graduating Year 11 pupils from Ormiston Venture Academy in Gorleston attended their prom night at the Park Hill Hotel in Lowestoft.

Students arrived dressed to impress in their finest attire to the venue which had been decorated by academy staff.

A highlight of the night was the sweetie bar which offered an assortment of treats from gummy bears to chocolate-covered strawberries.

The doughnut wall, which tempted attendees with an array of flavours and toppings, was another crowd favourite.

Dave Richards, vice principal at Ormiston Venture Academy, said: "Ormiston Venture Academy’s prom at Park Hill Hotel will undoubtedly remain a cherished memory for students and staff, serving as a testament to the incredible achievements and bright futures of our students.
