The Great Yarmouth coastline is becoming a filming hotspot after being featured on a prime-time ITV show for the second time this summer.

The programme has been broadcasting live from Great Yarmouth today (August 10).

Presenter and showbusiness reporter Melissa Nathoo fronted six live broadcasts from Great Yarmouth during the breakfast show and Lorraine.

The first segment, at 6.55am, showed Nathoo at the beach, before moving on to a second broadcast from Britannia Pier, then taking a tour of Merrivale Model Village where she chatted to owner Sophie Parkes.

She finished at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach where she rode the dodgems and its wooden roller coaster which is known for being one of the oldest in the UK.

Asa Morrison, CEO of Visit Great Yarmouth, said: "It's an absolute delight to be working with ITV again and show off Great Yarmouth and all we have to offer to the hundreds of thousands of viewers once again."

"It was the icing on the cake after such a fantastically busy Big Wednesday where seafront businesses reported very strong trading."

This Morning also visited Gorleston with presenter Josie Gibson last month after the town was voted the best UK beach by TripAdvisor.
