A police cordon was put up on a busy high street following an assault.
Police units and an ambulance were seen on Regent Road near the entrance of Maxislaney Court around 10.45am this morning (September 21).
Emergency services attended the scene and one man was taken to James Paget Hospital.
Access was restricted to Maxislaney Court apartments one to eight and LJ's Flowers.
Enquiries are ongoing.
