Performing pooches entertained guests at a well-attended family fun day on the coast. 

The first ever Hemsby Doggies Day Out was held on Sunday, September 24, at the Hemsby Tent and Touring site on Long Beach Estate. 

Norfolk Ghostbusters officially opened the event, which was organised by the Hemsby Village Events Group, and visitors were treated to a fine collection of classic cars as they entered the location.

DJ and MC for the day was Ian Papworth who spun tunes while Ruff Dog training held a dog show.

Canine companions competed in a dazzling array of classes including best treat catcher and best party trick.

A selection of dog-centric craft stalls, as well as multiple local food and drinks stalls, lined the main dog show ring.

A mix of live music during the day was provided by Hannah Hall, Mark Anthony and Isaac before X-Factor contestant Alex Mallet.

Eastern Folkloric dance group were on hand all day entertaining the crowds with their FCBD (Fat Chance Belly Dance) and ATS (African Tribal Style) displays. 

Hemsby Village Events Group wanted to thank Andrew Groat, Dave and Jayne Hall and staff from Hemsby Tent and Touring Site allowing them to use the field.
