Police will target antisocial behaviour across the Great Yarmouth area following the latest two Safer Neighbourhood meetings.

Officers from Great Yarmouth Police held two Safer Neighbourhood Action Panel (SNAP) priority-setting meetings earlier this month to discuss policing and crime issues in the town, Caister and coastal villages.

Picture - Newsquest (Image: Newsquest)At the Great Yarmouth SNAP meeting held on September 7 at the St Nicholas Priory Primary School, police said they will be tackling antisocial behaviour reported around St George's Park, the theatre area and the stairwells of the Middlegate Estate, with specific attention being paid to Tolhouse Street.

Picture - James Weeds (Image: James Weeds)At the Caister and Coastal Villages SNAP meeting held on September 14 at the village hall in Scratby, it was decided officers would target antisocial behaviour and young people drinking. 

Police will carry out patrols around Allendale Road, Caister, Station Road, Ormesby and Beach Drive, Scratby.

A date has yet to be set for the next SNAP meeting for Caister and Coastal Villages.
