A sprightly 102-year-old has celebrated her birthday in style at a Norfolk care home with more than 350 cards congratulating her.
A delighted Kate Roberts, a resident of Ritson Lodge Care Home in Hopton, was surrounded by birthday cards on Saturday.
The care home had put out an appeal for people to send in cards, with 368 sent in for Mrs Roberts' big day.
She also received flowers and cakes.
On the day Mrs Roberts was also visited by members of the local community, including many children, to help celebrate her birthday and the care home enjoyed a visit by a pony from a nearby riding school.
During the day the former midwife and college teacher also showed people how she still keeps fit by exercising in the home's lounge.
It was said she puts her long life down to never sitting down and always eating healthily.
