Bonfire night is just around the corner and there are several events taking place around the Great Yarmouth area for families to enjoy.

Here are some of the places to watch fireworks this year.

1. Where: Hemsby Playing Field, Waters Lane, Hemsby NR29 4NH

When: Friday, November 3 from 4pm

Cost: £3.50 and free entry for under-fours

The crew from Hemsby Independent Lifeboat will be holding a bonfire night party with a barbecue, drinks from the bar and amusements.

There will be stalls selling goods, with the Hemsby Events Committee selling hot drinks and there will be live music from the duo Blaze.

2. Where: Filby Playing Field, Main Road, Filby NR29 3HN

When: Sunday, November 6, Gates at 5pm

Cost: £5 and free entry for under-fives

Fairground rides, a traditional bonfire display from 6pm and a fireworks display from 7pm are all on offer at Filby Playing Field.

Refreshments will also be available from the bar, with food available as well.

There is also free onsite car parking.

3. Where: The Kings Arms, Northgate Street, NR30 1BG

When: Sunday, November 5

Cost: Outside tables are £10 per person

The Kings Arms in Northgate Street is holding its annual fireworks night from 6pm.

The price includes sparklers and hot food.

The pub will be putting on a small fireworks display during the evening.

When: Saturday, November 4

Cost: Free

The Reedham Bonfire Night is back, featuring a barbecue with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

The bonfire will be lit around 6.20pm, with the fireworks display starting at 7pm.

There will also be refreshments and glow sticks for visitors to buy.
