A main road in southeast Norfolk will face a week of closures this month.

The A143 Beccles Road in Fritton and St Olaves, near Great Yarmouth, will see its old pavement surface and damaged kerbs removed and replaced from November 13.

The work - which will also include the installation of new kerbs, road studs and markings - is expected to take seven days to complete.

Access to properties within the limits of the road closure will be maintained but there may "occasionally" be delays.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout and a signed diversion route will be in place while the road is closed.

The work, which will cost £89,100, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council's Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
