A woman in her 40s has been released on police bail following an allegation of assaulting another woman in Great Yarmouth town centre.
Police officers were flagged down on King Street in the early hours of Sunday morning, where a woman reported she had been assaulted by another woman.
Following enquiries, a woman in her 40s was arrested on suspicion of common assault and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
She was subsequently released on police bail until January 16.
No one was injured in the incident.
