More than £7,000 has been raised for a hospice charity thanks to its Santa Dash 2023.

St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice held the event on Sunday along Gorleston promenade.

The festive run saw more than 245 hospice supporters don Santa outfits and Christmas-themed fancy dress as they completed a sponsored 2k fun run or 5k run.

All funds raised will go towards St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice which, in partnership with East Coast Community Healthcare, has cared for more than 4,475 patients and their families in Great Yarmouth and Waveney since launching in April 2019.

“We are so pleased to raise this brilliant amount for our services in Great Yarmouth and Waveney, which provide vital care to patients and families during difficult times in their lives.”
