Developers are firming up plans for 24 bungalows on a slice of former railway land at Gorleston.
Planners have already agreed to the principle of building on the land at Burgh Road - as long as questions about access and drainage can be addressed.
Dean Minns, senior planning officer at Great Yarmouth Borough Council, said permission was given around 18 months ago, with the proviso that they were all single storey buildings. Officers are now combing through the new more detailed plans, focussing on design and layout of the development, classed as a major development.
