A sunken vessel will be raised from the River Bure in Great Yarmouth this week.

The Broads Authority has given a warning to river users along the Yare on Wednesday, January 17, as contractors will be raising a sunken vessel at Great Yarmouth Yacht Station by Tar Works Road.

The submerged vessel has been secured by the authority. It sank on January 5 and no one was onboard at the time.

A Broads Authority spokesperson said: "River users are urged to approach with care and caution if navigating in the proximity of the area."
