One of the biggest housing developments in the centre of Great Yarmouth for years is nearing completion.
G&C Homes Ltd, a developer based in Lowestoft, is currently building 71 affordable residential units off Northgate Street.
The estate, which has been called Alderman McGee Gardens, will have 14 two-bedroom flats, 20 two-bedroom houses and 37 three-bedroom houses.
Michael Coe, of G&C Homes, said that 22 houses have been sold while more two and three bed houses are nearly ready for occupation.

This site is the first major housing development in the centre of Great Yarmouth for many years and was formally the old Northgate Hospital where many children were born at the town's main maternity unit.

The development was named after the late Alderman Harry McGee, long-standing councillor who helped to house many people in Great Yarmouth and was well-respected.
G&C Homes have been developing sites in and around Great Yarmouth for the last 45 years including more than 20 brownfield sites.
The company recently completed and sold 46 flats and houses at Darwin Court in Gorleston.
