A flood alert has been issued for part of the Norfolk coast this evening.
Minor flooding is likely on coastal roads and footpaths between Caister and Gorleston between 5.15pm and 9.15pm today (January 24).

High tide levels are expected at Gorleston and water is predicted to collect on towpaths and quaysides in Great Yarmouth.
People are advised to stay away from high-risk areas and take care when close to the coast.
Flood alerts also remain in place around the Rivers Burn, Bure, Ant and Thurne.
Flood warnings, which mean flooding is likely, are in place for low-lying properties along the River Waveney and properties beside the River Yare until tomorrow morning.
