Two flood alerts have been issued for north Norfolk and the Norfolk Broads.

The Environment Agency has warned that flooding is deemed "likely" in the two areas.

One alert covers the Broads and the tidal rivers Bure, Ant and Thurne which includes areas from Great Yarmouth up to Horning.

The second alert is for the River Burn from Southgate and Waterden to Burnham Thorpe.

This includes the village of South Creake which has been particularly affected after roads and homes were left submerged in the aftermath of Storm Henk.

The Environment Agency said: "Take care on waterside roads and footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger."

Both alerts were renewed today just before 9am and are set to be in force for at least the next 24 hours.
