A former shoemakers in Gorleston will be converted into housing.
Planners approved a bid by David Brissenden to change the use of the former Mr Mapes shop on High Street from commercial to residential.
The proposals also include alterations to the front and rear of the building, as well as the back garden.
A document supporting the application said it would have "negligible changes" to the appearance of the building.
The premises was built around 1903 and was used as a shoemakers until 1998.
