The A47 was blocked causing long delays in a busy section of the road.
The incident happened on the Acle Straight at the Branch Road Halvergate junction.
The major road was first reported as being blocked at 6.45am.

Traffic had built both ways with particular congestion building Acle bound with tailbacks towards the Runham roundabout.
It appears there was an obstruction in the road but no further information has been given.
