A former Norfolk rector has been charged with a sexual offence dating back 25 years.
Michael Woods has been charged with indecent assault involving a male aged 16 or over.
Woods, 79 of Sarawak, Malaysia, is alleged to have carried out the offence in Great Yarmouth between August 9 1997 and August 8 1999.
He is the former rector of St Nicholas Church in the coastal town.
He is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on March 26.
