Hundreds of people attended the launch of a new community hub - boasting a cafe, art club, tattoo studio and wellbeing clinic - on the coast.

There were queues out the door of The Vault as it officially opened on Saturday, March 9, in the renovated Victorian bank building on Gorleston High Street.

Jackson Harmer, founder and owner of the venue, was overwhelmed by the positive community support.

He said: "Wow! What a day! Over 300 people came to show their support, and it was truly amazing to see so many locals come together to celebrate The Vault.

“This creative hub represents my dream of an inclusive place where creativity and community unite."

The Vault aims to be a catalyst for helping local talent shine and empowering the next generation of artists, creators, and young individuals in the community.

The opening event featured various activities including performances from Darby, Conner, Danny and Billie Mac, a fundraising raffle with generous contributions from local businesses, and creative activities.

The venue is also home to Cafe Vault, an urban coffee bar serving a range of hot and cold drinks, with plans to provide accredited training and mentorship opportunities for local youth in the future.
