An altercation involving several adults broke out in front of a Norfolk secondary school.
Several adults were caught up in a row on Windsor Road, near Caister Academy, shortly after 3pm on Thursday.
Police were called to the scene shortly after where, according to a spokeswoman, they "offered some words of advice" and stopped the altercation.
Following the incident Norfolk Police are set to increase police patrols in the area to "offer community reassurance."
A spokeswoman for Caister Academy denied the incident happened on their grounds instead suggesting the row happened on "a road near the school".
They said: "We understand this is a police matter... None of our staff or students were harmed."
Due to the event police have advised any concerns from local people in the area to report them to Norfolk Constabulary on 101 or directly to Caister Academy.
