A legend from the British and Irish Lions will appear at a Norfolk rugby club's 40th birthday bash.
Great Yarmouth and Broadland Rugby Club (GYBRC) are hosting their anniversary dinner at the Town Hall in Great Yarmouth on Saturday, May 25.
Dean Richards, a rugby union coach and former player for Leicester Tigers, England and the British and Irish Lions, will be the guest speaker.
Ahead of the celebration, the club's chairman elect Sean O'Kane took the opportunity to say they are keen to attract new players, members and volunteers.
"After Covid, as with much grassroots sport, we are also facing challenges with our player base and this could help get us out there ahead of pre-season training starting in early July," he said.

The black-tie event will take the form of a three-course dinner followed by speeches celebrating the club's history.
Entertainment following the formalities will be provided by local two-piece band, Lincoln Skins.
