A community centre has temporarily closed its doors in Great Yarmouth while a new organisation is created to take on its management.
Cobholm Community Centre has been closed for around a month.
The centre, which had been leased to Cobholm Community Centre Association by Great Yarmouth Borough Council (GYBC), is now closed for the time being after their licence expired.
A new group is now being formed to run it.

A spokesman for GYBC: "Cobholm Community Centre was formerly occupied under a licence from the council and the premises and all activities were run by the Cobholm Community Centre Association. However, that arrangement has now ended.
"The council understands a new Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) will be created for Cobholm Community Centre. CIOs are required to register with the Charity Commission. The new CIO, once registered, will take on the future management of the community centre.

"Initially the council will issue a 12-month licence to the CIO, to ensure the site can reopen quickly.
"The council expects the CIO to form a full board in collaboration with the local community which will establish and operate under a revised constitution.
"If the centre operations are a success, the council expects a full lease to be provided following the 12-month licence.’’
