A pub by a Norfolk river has applied to upgrade its beer garden in time for the summer.

The Kings Head in Hoveton has put in an application to install an outdoor television alongside speakers in its rear beer garden.

The Greene King pub on the River Bure has put forward the application to the Broads Authority.

The planning statement submitted said: "The Kings Head is a key tourism and hospitality destination.

"The proposal enhances its offer, supporting visitor experience, local employment and economic vitality within Hoveton."
