STAINLESS steel worth £4000 was stolen from a Great Yarmouth business late last month.

The theft, recently reported to police, occurred at the site in Shuttleworth Close between 10am and 12pm on Thursday, September 30.

A man attended the business in the morning and asked to borrow some metal to assist in the repair of a vehicle. The man, wearing a white hard hat and works gear, subsequently returned with an accomplice in a red Fiat panel van and loaded 30 sheets of the metal before making off.
