Emergency services have been out called to a crash in Caister.

The crash between a flatbed van and a car happened in Prince of Wales Road at about 10.30am this morning.

Police said the received a call from the ambulance service at 10.28am that there had been a road traffic collision between a van and a Volvo and one person had suffered a minor injury.

It led to the road being blocked with the road finally being cleared by 12.32pm.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service sent one fire engine from Gorleston to deal with the aftermath of the crash.

A spokesman for the service said: “The crew made the area safe, used granules, carried out casualty care and provided scene safety.”
