TWO Norfolk lads have recorded their own Christmas song to raise money for the Shelter charity.

Oliver Neve, 25, who grew up in Ormesby, met his friend Ben, 26, when they were studying at East Norfolk Sixth Form College.

The friends recorded a song at Oliver’s house in Hamilton Road, Great Yarmouth, and now they have Shelter’s blessing to use it to raise money for them.

The song is called ‘Thanks For The Song (Did You Keep The Receipt?)’

Oliver said: “So far, we have raised just under 20. We both plan to add a further 10 to the final total, which, at present, would bring it up to 40.”

The song can be listened to and downloaded at http://asongforshelter.bandcamp.com

All proceeds will go straight to Shelter’s Paypal account.
