Part of the A47 has reopened after an earlier crash involving several vehicles - but severe delays remain.
The collision occurred at Hopton between the B1370 and B1375 going southbound towards Lowestoft.
The southbound carriageway was temporarily closed while emergency services including the police, ambulance service and East Anglian Air Ambulance attended the scene.
Highways England immediately warned of “long delays in the area” and told drivers to “approach with care.”
Twitter user Charlotte Mills posted to say that she was being diverted via Lound. She warned fellow drivers to “avoid” the “treacherous, dangerous conditions.”
However, Highways England later tweeted that the road had been reopened, but added “delays remain in the area.”
