O’Flynns, Budgens branch is supporting Nelson’s Journey, a Norfolk-based child bereavement charity.

Stuart Boyes, pictured, said: “We are really pleased to be supporting a local charity, that was important to us.”

Tina Ainsworth, legal auditor and trainer for O’Flynns Budgens is leading fundraising activities for the store. She said: “We chose Nelson’s Journey after asking for suggestions from some of our staff. This charity immediately came to mind as it is a local charity which offers much needed support and guidance to children and young people at such difficult times in their lives. As well as donating through our carrier bag charges, we also look forward to working with Nelsons Journey over the coming year to help raise funds through events and collections and to spread the word to our customers about the worthwhile work that this charity does.”

An in-store accumulator will track progress and show customers what their donations could fund.
