Acle road closure and diversions

WORK will begin on Tuesday to repair and resurface Reedham Road in Acle - resulting in the road being closed to all through traffic in two phases.

The site will extend from approximately 200m south of the junction with Jollys Lane through to a point approximately 150m north of the junction with Damgate Lane.

WORK will begin on Tuesday to repair and resurface Reedham Road in Acle - resulting in the road being closed to all through traffic in two phases.

The site will extend from approximately 200m south of the junction with Jollys Lane through to a point approximately 150m north of the junction with Damgate Lane. The £130,000 work will take two weeks to complete.

During phase one the limit of the works will be from the mini roundabout to 150m north of Damgate Lane and the road will be closed from Tuesday until Monday, April 26. The diversion route will be Norwich Road and Reedham Road.

Phase two covers the road from the mini roundabout 200m south of Jollys Lane with the road closed from Tuesday, April 27 to Friday, April 30.

The light vehicle diversion is Moulton St Mary, Freethorpe and Beighton and heavy vehicles will be diverted along the A47, B1140 White House Lane, Beighton, Freethorpe, and Moulton St Mary.

Access will be maintained for residents within each phase of the road closures and the programme is subject to adverse weather conditions.
