Acle Straight closed following crash

POLICE closed the Acle Straight for nearly two hours today following a collision involving three cars.

The single carriageway was closed in both directions between Great Yarmouth and Acle between 8am and 9.

POLICE closed the Acle Straight for nearly two hours today following a collision involving three cars.

The single carriageway was closed in both directions between Great Yarmouth and Acle between 8am and 9.50am following the crash involving a Landrover Defender, Landrover Freelander and Peugeot 206.

Nobody was injured during the incident, but the road had to be closed to allow fire crews to clear up an oil spillage from one of the vehicles involved in the accident.
