Acle Straight crash motorcyclist dies
A MOTORCYCLIST died at the scene of a head-on crash on the Acle Straight this morning.Police are currently trying to trace relatives of the man, believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s.
A MOTORCYCLIST died at the scene of a head-on crash on the Acle Straight this morning.
Police are currently trying to trace relatives of the man, believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s.
The accident happened 50 metres from the turning to Halvergate at 11.30am and involved a Honda CBF and a blue Mercedes box van.
The motorcycle was heading towards Great Yarmouth when it collided head-on with the van, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver and passenger of the van suffered minor injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses concerning the accident, or the manner of the driving of either vehicle leading up to the incident.
