The Broads Authority will be at the Norfolk Boat Jumble at the Royal Norfolk Showground on April 5 to give advice to boat owners about the Boat Safety Scheme - a four yearly MOT-type test for boats with engines, cooking, heating, lighting and domestic appliances.

This year, the final phase of the three year scheme is being implemented in which all remaining private motor and sailing craft will need to comply.

Officers from the Broads Authority and from the National Boat Safety Scheme office will be at the show to provide information and answer questions.
