Nine cadets have started a new project which will involve them taking regular lessons in bell-ringing from Lawrence Hassall, who rings at various churchs around the Norwich Diocese. After their very first lesson Lawrence said: "I'm hoping the youngsters will be ringing the bells at their annual carol service in December!"

Bell-ringing at St Nicholas Church in Bradwell, the cadets were shown the three bells which date from 1450 and weigh in at 394, 470 and 517kgs respectively. The cadets are to visit St Andrew's Church in Gorleston to see the differences with a greater number of bells to ring.
