CHILDREN and parents walked from Alderman Swindell School to St Paul's Church for their annual Christingle Service last Friday. The service was led by the Rev Irene Knowles.
CHILDREN and parents walked from Alderman Swindell School to St Paul's Church for their annual Christingle Service last Friday. The service was led by the Rev Irene Knowles.
The children sang Christmas songs, presented gifts of money to support the work of The Children's Society and read prayers. The service ended with the lighting of the Christingles and the singing of Away in a Manger. The oranges were donated by Asda.
