Children at Alderman Swindell First School have been involved in a range of activities to help them understand why it is important to reduce, reuse and recycle, during last week's National Recycle Week.

Children at Alderman Swindell First School have been involved in a range of activities to help them understand why it is important to reduce, reuse and recycle, during last week's National Recycle Week. There was a visit from the theatre group Circus Take-Away who performed Recyclotory Laboratory, courtesy of the county council's School Waste Action Club team (SWAC). The children enthusiastically joined Professor Phineas Nut in his wacky laboratory (pictured) as he explored the problems of packaging and waste and what we can do about it.
