SITTING down to eat with their family took on a new meaning for youngsters at Alderman Swindell First School last week - mum and dad went to school for dinner!

The Come and Try a School Dinner Week lasted from Monday to Friday and families were able to choose the day they would eat at school according to the menu.

The Come and Try a School Dinner Week lasted from Monday to Friday and families were able to choose the day they would eat at school according to the menu.

Dinners are provided by Norfolk County Services and the Thursday - roast dinner day proved particularly popular as did fish and chip Friday.
