LAST week was very exciting in the nursery at Alderman Swindell First School. On the Monday some eggs arrived and on Tuesday they started to crack and the first chick appeared.

LAST week was very exciting in the nursery at Alderman Swindell First School. On the Monday some eggs arrived and on Tuesday they started to crack and the first chick appeared. By Thursday, the nursery had eight extra, and rather fluffy, new members. The children were enthralled through the first hand experience of watching the chicks hatch and their subsequent and rapid development.
