Three year groups from a Great Yarmouth school visited the Town Hall as part of their local history duty.
The study is linked with the planned closure of their school – Alderman Swindell and pupils from years 3, 4, and 5 arrived armed with journalist notebooks and plenty of questions.
The visit was on Thursday, May 10, and the pupils reported they had particularly enjoyed meeting the Mayor, Cllr Kerry Robinson-Payne in the last days of her role. They asked her about the position and responsibilities of the civic title.
