CHILDREN from Alderman Swindell School have been performing their school Christmas play this week.

This year's performance, Born in a Barn, tells the nativity story through the eyes of the animals. Every child from the three-year-olds in the nursery to year 2; has a part to play. Fifteen children performed for family and friends and there was a special performance for senior citizens in the local area who were treated for a Christmas party.
