A NORFOLK alpine grower has been awarded the Sewell Medal from the Royal Horticultural Society.
Cecilia Coller, from Sutton, near Stalham, was presented with the award at a ceremony in London.
David Haselgrove, chairman of the rock garden and alpine group, said: “Cecilia Coller is the recipient of the Sewell Medal for her stalwart supporting of the Alpine Garden Society's London show for more years than I care to remember. Without her magnificent variety of alpines in pots, the show would have been much poorer. This medal is richly deserved and reflects her hard work and consummate skill as a grower of alpines.”
Mrs Coller has been growing alpines for about 20 years.
