BROADS Authority planners will today consider a proposal for seven angling platforms, made of recycled plastic, to be installed on the south bank of the River Thurne, upstream of Potter Heigham bridge.

Each platform would measure 1.8m x 1.8m and be supported by four posts driven into the bank.

There are currently three timber angling platforms on the stretch of river, offering access across decking from the footpath to the riverbank for anglers.
