A group of animal care students from Great Yarmouth College recently organised a sponsored dog walk to raise money for Hemsby animal charity, Foxy Lodge Wildlife Rescue. The organisation aims to give second chances to sick, injured, abandoned or orphaned wildlife and rely solely on donations.

Ten students organised and collected sponsor money for the walk, which look place earlier this year, and raised £292. The money was presented to Foxy Lodge by animal care course leader Sophia Guymer and some of the students last week. Also stealing the show at the presentation were a hedgehog and greyhound!

Participating students (pictured at Hopton Holiday Village) were Lewis Colborn, Tiffany Davies, Shylo Byer, Rachael Callaghan, Chloe Fairman, Victoria Kettles, Holly Siggins, Chloe Skinner, Indre Vilkaite, Sue Bone.
