POLICE in Great Yarmouth are appealing for information following an assault in Howard Street South.
The incident happened on Saturday, May 21 between midnight and 1am when a group of about eight or nine people passed a teenager having a cigarette outside a property. The group became verbally abusive towards him and two menout of the group went on to assault the 16-year-old, resulting in him suffering minor injuries. A second man who came to the aid of the victim was also assaulted by the two men. A 30-year-old man was arrested and released on bail in connection with the incident.
