A SPATE of vehicle damage in Bradwell has prompted an appeal for information from the police.

Officers from the Bradwell Safer Neighbourhood Team are investigating several incidents of criminal damage to vehicles parked in Kingfisher Close.

There have been eight incidents where vehicles parked in the close have had their paintwork scratched since Saturday ,March 12.

Sgt Lou Provart said: “It is possible these acts of damage have occurred during the same time period, and our investigators are very keen to hear from anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in the area, especially overnight from Saturday 12, to Sunday 13 March.

“These crimes have had a very big impact upon the victims of crime given the large cost involved in repairing or the damage caused, and because of that I wish to reassure all residents that the team at Gorleston Police Station will be carrying out high visibility patrols in the area and every effort is being made to identify those responsible.”

Officers are encouraging anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or have anything information that may be related to the incidents to contact Bradwell SNT. The team will also be holding a Street Surgery on Kingfisher Close on today in the afternoon and early evening to allow residents to ask questions or raise any concerns that they may have.
