Vacancies have emerged at Mill Lane and Beccles Road, Bradwell, serving close to 1000 primary school pupils making their way to Woodlands, Hillside and Homefield schools.
Crossing patrol manager Ian Webb he hoped to fill the posts as quickly as possible. One of the crossing patrol people had found a job with more hours the other was going into hospital for an operation, he said.
Each post is for around an hour and a half a day.
