Officers from Norfolk Constabulary's Operation RADAR team are appealing for help from hoteliers in Norfolk.

Operation RADAR is a team of officers dedicated to preventing and investigating rogue traders and distraction burglaries in the county.

Officers from the team are keen to trace a person in connection with an investigation into distraction burglary in the Norfolk area.

It is believed that the person has checked into bed and breakfast and hotel premises in the county in the area where a number of recent offences have occurred.

In particular, they believe he may have stayed at premises in the Yarmouth and Dereham areas.

The individual is described as male, white, believed to be aged in his 50s, approximately 5ft 1ins to 5ft 8ins tall, of large build with short cropped hair. He is believed to be alone.

It is believed he checks in to accommodations sometimes giving only the name 'Dave', and pays with cash.
